10 Things I've Been Putting Off


  1. Weeding. It's a jungle out there even though I've gotten a little bit done the last two weekends.

  2. Buying stamps. I may try to do this while on the road. They're small; they pack easily.

  3. Ordering airline tickets for our December trip. Why would I possibly put this off? I have no idea.

  4. Introducing The Boy to my friends. I haven't been ready to share just yet.

  5. My regular ol' annual check-up. I did make it to the dentist, though.

  6. Re-staining my dresser.

  7. Painting my bedroom.

  8. Tiling the sunroom. Basically anything that has to do with the house it seems.

  9. Transfering the remainder of my CDs to my iPod.

  10. Apparently the big things like marriage and children.

I almost put buying stamps on my list, too! I still have a few 39-cent ones lying around, and a few more 2-cent ones (how did THAT happen?). I reckon when those run out I'll get more...

Gotta do my annual check-up, too - but you are better than me - you went to the DENTIST!

Hey, finishing the molding is on your list. We also need to add "have a garage sale." Been putting that off so long I forgot to add it to the list.

hey, would you like to see the nursery?

After a very productive week/weekend, the nursery is just about done. I think the only thing I want to do is whip up a simple padded headboard and Hubby needs to trim down the legs on a little footstool. That's it! Finally! So without further ado... This is what you see when you walk in the door. Too bad the baby won't be able to appreciate it right away. (And I'll apologize right off the bat for having some wonky-colored photographs in this post. I just don't have the energy to fix things. At least on my monitor, the above pic is roughly true-to-life.) Would you like to see that awesome rug a little better? Man, I love it. It was the one splurge for the room but it has such great colors, fun animals and designs, and is round. All my criteria were met. Love. Here's the corner with the crib.
