10 Favorite Halloween Candies
  1. Candy corn!

That's it. Who needs anything else besides candy corn?! The sad thing is, I haven't had any yet this season. My other favorite Halloween/fall food items are popcorn balls and caramel apples. Oooh, there's a place here (on the road) that makes some fantastic caramel apples. Maybe I'll get me one this week. And, I don't know if you've noticed, but it's slightly cooler outside. Yea!

Hubby and I always mix candy corn and salty peanuts in a jar and shake 'em up. We love the salty/sweet mixture.

I used to love candy corn when I was a kid but now I find it way too sweet :-(

Mmmmmm....candy corn! I especially like the kind with chocolate on the bottom but can't eat it now because of the evil diabetes. :P Hope you enjoy some soon!!!!

I'm so confused with the 10 on Tuesday that I've just bagged it this week. I'll catch up next week. I already made my list, though, and candy corn made it, but it wasn't the only item.

hey, would you like to see the nursery?

After a very productive week/weekend, the nursery is just about done. I think the only thing I want to do is whip up a simple padded headboard and Hubby needs to trim down the legs on a little footstool. That's it! Finally! So without further ado... This is what you see when you walk in the door. Too bad the baby won't be able to appreciate it right away. (And I'll apologize right off the bat for having some wonky-colored photographs in this post. I just don't have the energy to fix things. At least on my monitor, the above pic is roughly true-to-life.) Would you like to see that awesome rug a little better? Man, I love it. It was the one splurge for the room but it has such great colors, fun animals and designs, and is round. All my criteria were met. Love. Here's the corner with the crib.
